Bookings & cancellations

A session is confirmed when payment is received through our booking provider. One cancellation policy applies to every session type:

All bookings: full refund up to 36 hours before your scheduled time.

Anything inside that window is non-refundable. Inside the window the booking may, at our discretion, be transferred to a future date.

We sail rain or shine. Sessions cancel only for lightning, sustained high wind, or unsafe water conditions. If we cancel, you receive a full refund or a rescheduled session at no cost.

Health & safety

Sauna and contrast-bathing experiences can affect blood pressure, heart rate, and consciousness. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, take medication that affects circulation or temperature regulation, or have any concerns, consult your physician before booking. Do not consume alcohol before or during your session.

Guests must be 18 or older to attend a shared (communal) session. Younger guests are welcome only on private bookings, where a parent or legal guardian books and attends the session.

Conduct on the boat

Swimsuits required in the sauna. No alcohol or intoxicants during sessions. No soap, lotion, or product in the outdoor shower — the water returns to the bay. Glass, smoking, and vaping are not permitted on the dock or boat.

Our space is small and shared. We expect guests to respect one another, our team, the dock, and the bay. We reserve the right to refuse or end service for anyone whose behavior is unsafe or disruptive, without refund.

Assumption of risk

You acknowledge that hot rooms, cold water immersion, dock access, and boat boarding involve risk of injury including burns, slips, drowning, cardiac events, and other harm. By participating you assume those risks and release Coho Saunas, its owners, employees, and partners from liability for injury or loss arising from ordinary participation in our experience. This release does not cover gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part.

Intellectual property

The Coho Saunas name, logo, photography, and site content are our property. Don't copy or reuse them without permission. You may share photos you take of yourself and your party.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our business evolves. The "last updated" date below reflects any change. Continued use of the site or services after a change constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Whatcom County, Washington.
